BESS Guard combines Lithium Black and Titan into one retrofit-friendly system - stopping a cell in thermal runaway in the seconds after it starts, and isolating the damage to a single unit instead of losing the whole facility.
The range
Each product interrupts combustion at the molecular level, targeting a different point of failure - from a battery in thermal runaway to an electrical fault, a fuel fire, or open land.
A naturally derived agent from minerals, clay and salt. It encapsulates the battery, cools it below 100°C in seconds, interrupts thermal runaway at the molecular level, and prevents reignition - the definitive answer for BESS, data centres and EV batteries.
Rapid knock-down and cooling across lithium, hydraulic oil, petrol and tyre fires. Encapsulates flammable fuels and works with standard 6% foam induction systems.
Two products under one banner: Agri, an aerial water-enhancer dropped onto active fires so water reaches the fuel; and FireBreak, a preventative fire-line applied around crops and land to stop fire crossing in.
A water-based spray that makes textiles fire-resistant - curtains, furniture, seat covers, tarps and tents. No effect on feel or strength once dry, and safe around people and pets.
A heat-activated sticker placed inside electrical panels, switchgear and inverters. When a fault generates heat it releases FK-5-1-12 to extinguish the fire at source - zero residue, no wiring, no power.

UK fire regulation · 2026
In 2026 the UK adopted BS ISO 3941:2026, adding Class L - the first dedicated fire classification for lithium-ion battery fires. It formally recognises what makes them different: thermal runaway, cell-to-cell spread, and re-ignition hours later. It's exactly the risk Lithium Black and BESS Guard are built to stop.
